about
THE POKORA is a brand rooted in respect for craftsmanship, material, and the creative process. Each project is developed from the ground up — from the yarn, through the knitted structure, to the final form. We work consciously and without haste, focusing on durability, quality, and precision.
We use natural yarns — wool and cotton, often sourced from recycled materials. These reclaimed fibers give each project a distinct character, while variations in texture and tone ensure that every object remains unique.
Our work is inspired by traditional handicraft techniques, craftsmanship, and Slavic folk aesthetics — their simplicity, rawness, and functionality. These influences naturally shape our approach to form, structure, and material.
THE POKORA operates at the intersection of fashion, streetwear, art, and functional design. We create not only garments, but also objects, sculptures, and functional textiles. Each project combines practical use with a strong visual identity and a visible trace of handcraft.
We design pieces that stand outside seasonal cycles and short-term trends — grounded in quality, form, and process.
